He has won numerous awards, including six first-place finishes from the California Newspaper Publishers Association. In 2001, he won first-place awards from the CNPA, the Los Angeles Press Club and the Best of the West competition.
Argument: It is saying that back to school shopping is so outrageous that middle class people and down are going to have to work two jobs.
Composition: It is a simple single-frame cartoon.
