Ruby

I was somewhat shocked to read this article. I think that the article is quite interesting in the fact of what it promoted. It is awesome that they promoted Ruby. Ruby stands for something that is somewhat true. As soon as you hit an age that you can start to understanding things, you have all these ideas forced upon you. Whether or not the idea is broad or narrow; they are forced upon you. The idea forced upon you that Ruby disagrees with is that you do not have to look like the Barbie’s and action figures that you grow up playing with. When you do think about it you are made to think that you have to have a Barbie figure or the muscles of an action figure. In a sense, this is unfair to people because as you grow up you start looking at other things that probably resemble Barbie or an action figure. For an instance, when I was younger I used to be a sports fanatic. Everything I done revolved around sports. So for instance, when I was really young I probably looked at sports cartoon books. Sports cartoon books would now be equivalent to ESPN the Magazine. These are the figures I would be viewing to be examples of what you should be to be an excellent athlete.
